The Time Space & Drums Musical Terms Book For Drummers serves to provide the drummer with a foundation of the most common musical terms they may come across as they develop and begin to work within a reading environment.

The book highlights the most common MUST KNOW terms as well as the most common terms that the drummer may hear over a number of years in many different situations. In other words, these are the most practical usable terms every drummer should know.

Although mostly for advanced situations that involve reading music such as playing in theatre pit band or full orchestra we believe that at least the most common musical terms should be a requirement at the beginning of any drumming journey and so we have included the most commonly used musical terms that apply mostly to the drummer although this isn’t exclusive.

These terms are usually represented in their Italian form but French and German terms are also used quite often.
